My Portfolio

I’ve always been a hands-on learner, and my portfolio reflects my journey of exploration and growth in the world of IT. From building my own home lab to troubleshooting complex system issues, I thrive on challenges and enjoy finding creative solutions. Explore my projects below to see my skills in action.

My Home Lab

My home lab is my playground for experimentation and learning. It’s where I test new technologies, build virtual environments, and hone my skills in system administration and networking.

My current setup includes a virtualization server running KVM on Linux. I’ve set up several virtual machines, including an OpenWrt router for network management, two Active Directory domain controllers for centralized authentication, and various other VMs for testing and development purposes.

Through my home lab, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience with Linux system administration, virtualization, networking, and troubleshooting. I’m constantly experimenting and learning, and I’m always looking for new challenges to tackle.

Key Components:

Calix GigaPoint 1100W ONT, providing internet connectivity to my home lab.

Calix GigaPoint 1100W ONT: My home lab’s connection to the internet is established through a Calix GigaPoint 1100W Optical Network Terminal (ONT). This device, provided by Allo Communications, my ISP, converts the fiber optic signal into Ethernet, enabling my lab to access the wider network.

Virtualization Server: This powerful server runs KVM on Linux and hosts a variety of virtual machines for different projects and experiments.

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X
  • RAM: 128GB
  • Storage: 2TB SSD
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 730
  • NICs:
    • Onboard NIC (Management)
    • 2x Intel Gigabit CT NICs (Bridged to VMs and OpenWrt router)

Other Components:
